USS Louisville

Louisville was a "city" class ironclad built at Carondelet (near St. Louis), Missouri, and commissioned in January 1862. In Tennessee, she participated in the actions at Fort Donelson and Memphis.
Her later career outside of Tennessee included activities at Vicksburg and Grand Gulf, and on the Red River. She was decommissioned in July 1865.
