KANSAS

The Kansas State Historical Society provides materials on local history and heritage education. An Education Division, separate from the SHPO, provides most of these materials and services. A curriculum packet for high school students is in development, as is a traveling exhibit. Teacher workshops, called the Summer Seminar for Teachers are conducted annually. A booklet of resource materials, programs, and outreach services is available. Visit their web site for more information about their programs.
