Stacey Graham, Ph.D.
Research Professor
sgraham@mtsu.edu
Stacey Graham joined the Center staff as
Research Professor in Spring 2007. A Murfreesboro
native, she had previously served as the first Fellow at
the Center in the summer of 2003, during which she
contributed historical research to project reports and
participated in fieldwork and meetings with community
leaders. Her interest in local historical issues has
remained constant throughout her life, even as she
pursued majors in medieval European history and Latin,
and conducted research as a Fulbright Scholar in Paris,
France. She received her B.A. from the University of
Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1998, and her M.A. and Ph.D. in
History from the University of California, Los Angeles,
in 2001 and 2005, respectively. Her dissertation, “The
Dissemination of Christian and Intellectual Culture in
Late Antique North Africa, A.D. 430-695,” traced
manuscripts of intellectual and theological texts from
their origins in Christian North Africa to the monastic
centers of Europe. |
